Helpful Things to Know.

Most solid objects scan well: parts, prototypes, small assemblies, and everyday items that fit within the ScanHub volume. Highly reflective, transparent, or glossy materials may require a light scanning spray available at the kiosk. It evaporates on its own within about an hour with no cleaning required. Living beings, food, liquids, and hazardous items cannot be scanned.
Most scans take under five minutes from start to finish. The kiosk handles alignment, processing, and file packaging automatically.
Your files are delivered immediately after scanning, by email and via QR code at the kiosk for quick mobile download.
You receive STL and OBJ files, compatible with CAD software, 3D printing, quality inspection, and reverse engineering workflows.
None at all. ScanHub is designed for anyone to use with confidence. The kiosk guides you through every step on-screen.
Appointments are only required at select locations. Most locations are walk-in during posted hours. Where scheduling is required, the ScanHub team will contact you after checkout to arrange your visit.
Yes. Single packs are valid for 90 days. 3-Packs for 120 days, 5-Packs for 150 days, and 10-Packs for 6 months from the date of purchase.
ScanHub offers three scan resolutions: HD (standard, ideal for most objects and everyday workflows), XHD (higher point density for more detailed surfaces), and UHD (maximum resolution for complex geometry and fine features). Resolution is selected based on your object type and the level of detail required. All three resolutions are included at no additional cost. The main trade-off at higher resolutions is larger file sizes.
