How we collect, protect, and use your information.
ScanHub, operated by OptimumARC Inc., is committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Canadian privacy laws. By using ScanHub services or visiting our website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information you provide directly:

We use personal information to:
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
With trusted service providers:
We choose our service providers with care and expect them to protect personal information.
Legal obligations:
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or government request.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption and access controls, to protect scan files and personal information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We store scan files in Canada. Some of our service providers, such as those we use for email, website forms and analytics, store or process other information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held outside Canada may be accessible to courts and authorities in that country under its laws.
We keep scan files and other personal information only as long as needed to provide the service, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your scan files at any time.
You have the right to:
To submit a request, contact our Privacy Officer at info@optimumarc.com. We may require identity verification for your protection. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Our website uses three groups of cookies:
Whether optional cookies start on or off depends on where you are:
You can accept them all, reject them all, or choose each group in Preferences. We never use them to show you personalized ads, and we never sell your personal information. We work out which notice applies from your approximate location, based on your internet address at the time of your visit. We do not store your internet address.
The × on the notice closes it for the rest of your visit without recording a choice, so the starting setting for where you are stays: optional cookies stay off where we ask first, and stay on elsewhere. The notice appears again on your next visit.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in Cookie Preferences, also linked at the bottom of every page. When you turn a group off, we remove its cookies from your browser. We keep three small cookies of our own: one remembers your choice for up to a year (six months if you reject optional cookies), then we ask again, one notes for a day which notice applies where you are, and one keeps the notice closed for the rest of a visit. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
Google's use of this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Our website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing personal information.
We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of ScanHub services means acceptance of the updated policy.
